The people behind Platinum
Eugene T. O’Keane
Eugene has over 30 years’ experience working in the financial services sector both in Ireland and the United States. He has extensive experience in banking, insurance, reinsurance and investment sectors having worked on Wall Street for over 20 years for major International banks, insurance, reinsurance companies and rating agencies. He has expertise in all aspects of the financial markets.
Eugene holds a BBS degree from Trinity College. He is a Chartered Accountant and a QFA.
In addition, Eugene has extensive Board experience and has a Diploma in Company Direction from the IOD.
Eugene acts as a part-time CFO and board member to a number of SMEs and start-ups. He has significant turnaround expertise and is an experienced driver of rationalisations. He is an expert on Covid 19 sustainability plans and financial assistance programs. He is also a member of the mentor panel for MentorsWork and for a number of County LEOs. (Local Enterprise Office).
Eugene holds a Masters Degree in Executive Coaching from UCC.

Maureen MacDonald
Maureen has over 25 years experience in the financial services sector working in many companies both in Ireland and the U.S. including Lehman Brothers and Alliance Capital Management. Maureen graduated from the Marketing Institute and has held the Series 7 General Securities qualification. She also graduated from the UCD Innovation Academy for Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
